Application: Provides 48 VDC power for Terrasat Communications Block Upconverters. Typically used for high power BUC applications. Description: Terrasat’s 600W Outdoor BUC Power Supply provides power to the BUC through a multi-conductor 18 AWG cable. The unit is packaged in an environmentally protected outdoor enclosure. 1RU RACK MOUNT BUC POWER SUPPLY

The Rack Mount BUC Power Supply accepts the IF input from the modem and multiplexes it with DC power onto the IFL cable. The L-band IF input from the modem typically has a 10 MHz reference signal for the BUC and may also have FSK signaling and DC voltage.

The BUC and SSPA are combined into a single, compact package for an easier and more reliable installation. Integrated M&C via FSK on the IFL cable and RS485 serial port with our bundled BUCMon software complete the package.
