Advantech AMT’s Multiple Carrier Up-Converter can carry
up to 31 channels, each using 6, 7 or 8 MHz bandwidth.
The Up-Converter is used to drive any of the ADVM series
Amplifiers. The ADVM series is available in output powers of
50, 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1500 Watts.
Advantech AMT’s Up-Converter accepts a VHF TV signal with a
frequency signal range in the 138 to 324 MHz or in the 222
MHz to 422 MHz band. The signal is then up-converted and
sent to the Up-Converter’s output. The output frequency is
in the 2500 to 2700 MHz frequency range. The signal is then
sent to the Power Amplifier.
The unit accepts external 10 MHz input for precise frequency
synchronization. The unit will lock on a 10 MHz input signal
as low as –10 dBm. The unit is also equipped with an
internal 10 MHz oscillator that can take over a failure from
the external source. The internal 10 MHz signal is also
available for use by other modules.
The Up-Converter also provides visual alarms and status
through LED as well as scrolling menu display. Remote
monitoring is also available using the built-in SNMP
protocol agent.
