Fixed Wireless Broadband Communications

Advantech AMT, long recognized for the quality of its transmitters for wireless and satellite communications, now offers an expanded suite of wireless products for WLL, PCS and MMDS applications.

Outdoor masthead terminals, repeaters and cell extenders are available to PCS and WLL operators in popular frequency bands at a variety of power levels. These products can be supplied with optional redundancy and indoor interface units on request.

MMDS products include up-converters, power amplifiers, repeaters, extenders and new integrated broadband systems, low noise amplifiers (LNAs) and options which include a 10 MHz system reference source, transmitter redundancy and control panels.

These units are available to MMDS network operators to broadcast high quality analog and digital television programming, compact disc quality radio channels, and Internet services. Advantech MMDS products are extremely flexible and in addition to their capability for current distribution needs, they can be used for other standard and emerging applications such as digital QAM, hybrid channel transmission and HDTV.
