Data Interfaces The Telecomms Gateway for Advantech AMT 3X, 6X and 7X series of modems includes an EIA-530, multiple E1/T1 G703, 10/100BaseT Ethernet (IP Gateway)and optionally 2 x FXS analog telephony line interfaces. The balanced G703 interfaces can be configured as either E1 or T1 and support symmetric or non-symmetric Drop and Insert capability. Up to Eight G703 interfaces can be multiplexed into the same Satellite transmission. The Triple HSSI interface card is designed for inclusion in the Advantech AMT 7X series of modems. This offers the ability to multiplex up to 3 HSSI serial data channels along with an RS530 and a RS422 Overhead Channel. Each of the interfaces can be separately enabled or disabled. The channels are multiplexed and de-multiplexed using an Advantech TDM structure. The multiplex structure has been designed to minimize latency the synchronisation overhead. The Ultra IP Gateway for Advantech AMT 7X series of modems offers RS530 and HSSI interfaces along with a 2-port 10/100BaseT Ethernet router. It enables connection directly to local area networks without the need for expensive stand-alone routers. It can route up to 92Mbps of bi-directional Ethernet data, and in TDM multiplex can include the RS530 and HSSI data in the same satellite stream utilising the full 140Mbps capability of the AMT-7X modems in a single data transmission stream. |
