Power Amplifiers
Advantech AMT's products for Satellite Ground Stations include a
full range of high power solid state power amplifiers (SSPAs),
booster amplifiers (SSBs) and block up-converter transmitters (BUCs)
for up-link applications and low noise amplifiers (LNAs) for
down-link applications.
Our SSPAs are available in L, C, X and Ku bands and are available in
both indoor rack-mount units or in outdoor hub-mount weatherproof
enclosures. Advantech also features the first tri-band SSPA which is
designed to operate in any of the C, X and Ku satellite
communication bands.
Both rack-mount and hub-mount SSPAs are available with full-featured
microprocessor based Monitor & Control, which allows for a
convenient redundancy (1:1 or 1:2) topology using Advantech's
redundancy kit.
Our single package SSPAs are available in saturated output power
ranging from 10 watts to 1,000 watts depending on the frequency
requirements. For higher output power requirements, our multi-unit
phase combined units can reach up to 4,000 watts.
Advantech’s booster amplifiers are used to increase the power of
transceivers used in VSAT systems on C and Ku bands. They offer a
convenient, affordable means to respond to changing system demands
dictated by increased traffic and advances in technology.
Advantech also designs and manufactures outdoor hub-mount BUCs in C,
X, Ku and DBS satellite communication bands. These BUCs convert
synthesized L-Band to the required output frequencies and amplify
the output power level specified.
Low noise amplifiers (LNAs) for satellite down-link applications are
available in all bands from L-band to Ku-band.
Complementing this wide range of products is a whole line
of accessories that are available to facilitate the use of
our products.
