Description
T-Flex and E-Flex systems deliver flexible and economical
solutions for low to medium capacity T1 or E1 multiplexer
systems. T-Flex and E-Flex are flexible with self diagnostic and
monitoring functions. They fit into a 19" rack-mounted shelf
with a maximum capacity of 28 DS-1 or 21 E1 ports, suitable for
central offices, private networks and cellular networks.
Applications
T-Flex and E-Flex designs are based on state-of-the-art highly
integrated technology. T-Flex and E-Flex systems are a universal
network element providing the following types of configuration:
- DS-1/E1 Mux/Demux into/from STS-1 SPE/STM-0 VC12 with ull
SONET/SDH path termination capability
- DS-1/E1 ADD/DROP configuration fro SONET/SDH applications
Maintenance Capability
- DS-1/E1 and STS-1/STM-0 loopbacks
